National firm Gadens has appointed Caroline Ord as a Special Counsel in its Corporate Advisory Team. Caroline joins Gadens from Madgwicks Lawyers. Having practised in Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom, Caroline brings a broad range of global corporate and commercial experience, particularly in the area of funds management and superannuation law.

Caroline’s strong funds management experience stems from advising on the establishment of retail and wholesale managed investment schemes and the preparation of offer documents for fund managers and superannuation funds, as well as advising on other areas of financial services law, including AFSL licensing, capital raising and regulatory and compliance issues.”

Caroline has significant experience, and a strong interest, in reviewing and negotiating legal and commercial fund terms for clients wishing to invest in, re-evaluate and exit funds. She also assists clients with their general commercial needs, including corporate restructures, mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance matters.
