8 May 2018
National firm Gadens has appointed Brad Allen as a partner in its Banking and Finance Group. Brad joins Gadens from Dibbs Barker, where he was a partner in their Banking, Insolvency & Disputes practice. Brad practices in banking and finance law with an emphasis on corporate and acquisition finance. He has over 15 years of experience in the industry and has acted for financiers and major corporations on a range of syndicated, leveraged, property and other debt financing transactions.
Grant Scott-Hayward, Gadens’ Chief Executive Officer said:
“Brad is a very pleasing addition to our Banking and Finance Group, further increasing our national offering for clients. Brad’s experience includes having acted for clients in relation to their debt facilities, syndicated and bilateral financiers providing facilities to some of Australia’s major retailers and also financial services clients in relation to various secured facilities. He has also acted for financiers and borrows on various debt finance transactions in the property and construction sector.”
Commenting on his decision to join Gadens, Brad said:
“Gadens has a well-recognised, strong national banking practice in the Australian market. As one of the few law firms advising all the major banks and a firm that advises in excess of a quarter of all ASX-listed entities, the opportunities are enormous and extremely exciting. Gadens has a strong banking and finance practice and a strong strategic outlook, as well as a supportive and collaborative culture which I look forward to being a part of.”
“With the appointment of Brad to our Banking and Finance Group, we also foresee a number of synergies across our specialist offerings for both our corporate and banking clients. We are delighted to welcome Brad to Gadens,” concluded Mr Scott-Hayward.
