BEAR (now FAR) – the extension of the Banking Executive Accountability Regime

On 22 January 2020, The Treasury released the Government’s proposed model expansion of the Banking Executive Accountability Regime (BEAR) to all banks, insurance and superannuation entities. The consultation period will run until 14 February 2020. Affected entities need to consider whether they wish to make a submission now, and prepare for the implementation of FAR.
