Anna joined Gadens in 2007, after having completed her articles of clerkship in the legal department of a major Australian financial institution. Anna was admitted as a solicitor and barrister of the Supreme Court of Victoria in February 2007.
Anna has a wealth of experience in banking and finance litigation, insolvency and dispute resolution and regularly acts for major financial institutions in relation to security enforcement, property disputes, misleading, deceptive and unconscionable conduct, fraud and forgeries, subrogation and restitution, sale at undervalue, bankruptcies and liquidations. Anna has significant trial experience and has been involved in cases extending to the High Court of Australia.
Anna’s specific experience includes conducting complex security audits for financial institutions, advising financial institutions on prospects of success and strategy, including providing commercial solutions in relation to security enforcement proceedings, and advising clients in relation to the implications, interpretation and applicability of the National Credit Code, the Farm Debt Mediation Act 2011 and the new Banking Code of Practice.
