Biography
Clare advises on significant share and asset acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate advisory matters, corporate restructurings, distressed transactions, and general commercial law matters. Her focus has been predominantly on private company M&A and large-scale corporate real estate transactions. She is recognised for her ability to manage high-value, strategically significant matters and to distil complexity into clear, actionable advice.
Clare spent seven years working in London as a corporate lawyer, holding a dual UK qualification for over 15 years. During her time in London and in Australia, she has managed large-scale, multi-jurisdictional transactions across Europe, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East and North America.
She works across a range of sectors, with a particular focus on food and beverage, FMCG and retail, food and drink service, and real estate. She advises food, drink, retail and consumer brands, manufacturers and distributors, and has extensive experience in pub, club, restaurant and hotel transactions, as well as major corporate real estate matters, including joint venture developments, construction projects and hotel and leisure assets.
