Biography
James acts on acquisition finance, corporate lending and property development funding. His work spans syndicated term loan B facilities, unitranche structures, mezzanine debt and bespoke financing solutions for investment property projects.
Before joining Gadens, James spent a decade in London and Amsterdam, working at leading UK and US law firms and later as Director in the Acquisition Finance team of a global wholesale bank. This international exposure included advising on high-profile leveraged buyouts and complex multi-jurisdictional financing.
James has also gained valuable insight into loan execution and syndication processes over the course of his career. His clients include major trading banks, investment banks, credit funds and corporate borrowers, reflecting his ability to navigate diverse market dynamics and deliver strategic outcomes.
