Biography
Acting for developers, shopping centre owners and major corporates, John works across residential, mixed-use and industrial projects, guiding clients through complex negotiations and ensuring their commercial priorities are front and centre.
John builds long term relationships with his clients, enabling him to understand their business deeply and deliver advice that adds meaningful value to their transactions. With strong experience in ACT’s distinctive crown leasehold regime and planning framework, he brings clarity and confidence to technically challenging matters. He is valued for his practical judgment and ability to achieve strong outcomes on significant transactions.
In addition to his legal practice, John plays an active leadership role across both the legal profession and the wider community. He is a Divisional Council Member of the Property Council of Australia (ACT) and was formerly the Chair of the ACT Law Society’s Commercial Law Committee. John is also a founding Director of the Australian Brain Cancer Foundation and Founding Committee Member of Red Shed CBR.
