Biography
Liam guides clients through complex property and development projects with a strategic and commercial approach. He supports clients to identify and navigate the legal, commercial and stakeholder considerations inherent in these projects.
Liam draws on his deep experience acting for government agencies, developers and major corporates, helping them structure transactions, resolve tenure challenges and progress projects to deliver commercial value.
His work covers an extensive range of sectors including urban renewal projects, industrial estates, ports, health, social housing, renewable and green energy and utility infrastructure.
Liam regularly represents State and local government bodies on high value property transactions, funding arrangements and large-scale infrastructure programs. He also represents private developers and institutional clients on development transactions, acquisitions and disposals, major leasing arrangements and debt financings.

Advised on the tenure restructuring and staged transactions for the $1.4bn Brisbane Waterfront mixed-use redevelopment by Dexus, and long-term development arrangements for The Spit at the Gold Coast, delivering new residential, mixed-use and hotel facilities. -

Advised on major urban development and capital transaction projects across Brisbane, including long-term development arrangements for the Visy Site at West End (up to 4,000 residences), social and affordable housing. -
Townsville City Council
Advised on development, operational and infrastructure delivery arrangements the Lansdown Eco-Industrial Precinct, a major industrial estate supporting green energy and advanced manufacturing facilities across a 2,000ha precinct. -
North Queensland Bulk Ports Corporation
Advised on tenure, property and development arrangements for facilities and works at its ports, including dredging, towage, land development, interface and operational works. -
