Louise joined Gadens in Melbourne in March 2015 and is a Special Counsel in the Family Law Team.

Louise has been recognised by Doyle’s Guide as a Rising Star in Family Law in 2017.

Prior to commencing practice in family law in 2004 Louise was an Associate at both the Federal Circuit Court and County Court.

Louise is the current chair of both the Executive Committee and the Courts Practice Committee of the Law Institute’s Family Law Section.  She is involved with a number of committees and working groups working in conjunction with the Family Law Courts and other stakeholders.  She has presented and facilitated many seminars and conferences for legal education purposes.

She has acted as an Independent Child Lawyer for a number of years and has expertise in complex child welfare matters involving high conflict disputes.

Louise is an experienced litigator who prides herself on providing pragmatic and economically sustainable advice.
