With more than a decade of experience running complex litigation in state and federal courts, Louise leads matters from strategy through to trial and appeal, with a particular focus on disputes arising from financial distress, enforcement action and alleged breaches of directors’ duties.

Louise’s expertise spans corporate dispute resolution, corporate and personal insolvency and commercial litigation, with appearances in the High Court of Australia, Federal and state Courts and VCAT. She is trusted to manage large and multi-jurisdictional proceedings involving multiple parties, expert witnesses and urgent interlocutory applications.

She advises banks, private lenders, insolvency practitioners and corporate clients in matters involving insolvent trading, safe harbour, priority disputes, validity of appointment, reinstatement of deregistered companies, security enforcement and recovery actions. Louise has acted in landmark cases, including High Court of Australia proceedings that shaped liquidator liability and priority of funds in an insolvency context.

Louise is a former committee and ongoing member of Women in Insolvency and Restructuring Victoria, contributing to the profession through her work on contested insolvency‑related disputes and advocacy‑led litigation.
