Matthew acts for corporates, directors, and executives in the course of contentious disputes involving insolvency, financial services corporate governance and corporate investigations.
He has proven track record running trials of various scales in almost all jurisdictions across Australia, and in particular the Supreme and Federal Courts. He advises clients in relation to corporate collapses and proceedings before the Takeovers Panel, ensuring clients receive practical, outcome-focused strategies. His approach combines technical precision with commercial insight, enabling clients to resolve complex issues efficiently.
Recent engagements include representing directors defending claims arising from corporate collapses, acting in high-stakes disputes arising from mergers and acquisitions and various confidential regulatory investigations.
