Meg is a specialist in planning and environment law with nearly 20 years’ experience advising clients in the industrial, retail, manufacturing, renewable energy and development sectors. Meg advises on environmental and planning risks, liabilities and statutory regulation for major infrastructure and property developments and redevelopments, commercial transactions, land use, environmental risk, the management of contaminated land, heritage issues and environmental prosecutions.
A significant component of Meg’s practice involves working with clients to obtain project approvals and rezoning of land through councils, the Environment Protection Authority, the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal and Planning Panels Victoria and Advisory Committees appointed by the Planning Minister. Related to her speciality, Meg also advises on land acquisition and compensation matters in the context of major projects.
