Patrick advises on planning, environment, energy and resources law, supporting clients on major property developments, infrastructure delivery and mining projects. He provides guidance on approvals and compliance obligations, with additional experience in compulsory land acquisition matters, water management and site remediation.
Patrick regularly appears before the NSW Land and Environment Court in planning appeals, valuation disputes and environmental prosecution matters.
He brings a strategic, outcomes‑focused approach, working to balance regulatory requirements with his clients’ commercial objectives.

Advising the developer to obtain approvals for the $1bn redevelopment at Circular Quay in Sydney Harbour, the redevelopment being inclusive of a 59-storey residential tower and hotel. -

Acted in proceedings for compulsory acquisition of Hornsby Quarry in NSW, securing approximately $25m in compensation. -

Acted on the Port Botany Expansion project to successfully defend the Minister’s approval, valued at over $815m. -
