Biography
Peter draws on more than 35 years of tax advisory experience, specialising in international and corporate tax. Before joining the firm, he served as a senior M&A Tax Partner at a Big 4 accounting firm and chaired its Global M&A Tax practice. He has led tax structuring and due diligence on approximately 500 transactions across all sizes and sectors, with a strong focus on private equity, natural resources, property, and infrastructure.
He structures inbound investments for global private equity managers, multinational corporations, and Australian companies expanding offshore. Peter advises on high-profile IPOs, privatisations, and public-to-private transactions, often securing ATO rulings to achieve optimal outcomes. His work extends to Public Private Partnerships and complex cross-border deals involving Europe, Asia, and the Americas.
