Rachel acts for financial institutions, insolvency practitioners and corporates across contentious restructures, administrations and enforcement actions.
Biography
Rachel has extensive experience in corporate and commercial disputes, with a strong focus on insolvency, reconstruction and recovery. She advises clients across the full lifecycle of financial distress, from informal restructures and formal administrations through to enforcement of security interests and contested recoveries.
She acts for receivers, liquidators, trustees, statutory authorities, financial institutions, shareholders and insolvency professionals at both State and Commonwealth levels, as well as directors and companies navigating financial difficulty. Rachel regularly advises on uncommercial transactions, preferences, insolvent trading, and on broader commercial disputes involving trading assets and real property.
In addition to her client work, Rachel contributes to the profession through her active involvement with Women in Insolvency and Restructuring Queensland (WIRQ) and the Queensland Law Society.
