Biography
Raisa advises on complex technology, data, and privacy matters, focusing on digital transformation, data and privacy compliance and intellectual property commercialisation.
She is highly experienced in technology procurement, data and privacy compliance, AI advisory, data breach response and cybersecurity, and intellectual property commercialisation, bringing a practical, solutions-focused approach to every matter. She also advises on technology and privacy considerations in regulated transactions, including separation and transition arrangements.
She partners with clients in healthcare, financial services, energy, telecommunications and transport, as well as technology suppliers involved in critical technology infrastructure projects in Australia and overseas.
Raisa also contributes to industry standards as a member of the Marketing & Ethics Committee for Consumer Healthcare Products Australia.

Advised on and negotiated 4Dmedical’s arrangements with Philips Inc. for distribution of its products in the United States of America as well as its national contract enabling delivery of lung imaging technology to over 250 radiology clinics across Australia. -
AIPDT Infrastructure
Acted on undersea cable agreements linking Guam to Asia-Pacific regions (including Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines), supporting critical telecommunications infrastructure for research and educational institutions. -
Aussie Broadband
Advised on all technology and privacy aspects of its $262m acquisition of Symbio, including complex due diligence, regulatory compliance, and transition arrangements. -
MUFG, Link Group
Drafted and negotiated strategic services agreements and related trading and partnering arrangements between Australian Administration Services, part of Link Group and Allianz Retire+ for the roll-out of AAS’ Pathfinder retirement platform services, and related professional support services. -
Health insurance company
Led a privacy project involving the delivery of a privacy audit over the client’s privacy and spam compliance program and its application across five key business units, advising on privacy issues that are critical to the client’s business transformation pipeline, and executive briefing and communications. -
Kaluza
Led various contracting matters on behalf of Kaluza, including in relation to its negotiations on a multi-year licensing agreement with AGL Energy as part of AGL’s Retail Transformation Programme, which is its first and largest contract in Australia. The Kaluza platform will be rolled out to AGL’s 4m customers. -
Big four bank
Led the successful negotiations for a big four bank on its data sharing agreement with a data company in respect of the transfer and sharing of property listing data to supplement and enrich the client’s applications and products. -
Reachout Australia
Led the delivery of a privacy impact assessment on ReachOut Australia’s proposed rollout of an AI chatbot intended to supplement its existing chat support services.
