Biography
A core strength of Renae’s practice is real estate finance. She is regularly instructed on the origination and restructuring of facilities, including senior, mezzanine and preferred equity structures, and on transactions requiring careful management of security, priority and enforcement considerations.
Renae has significant experience advising on refinancings, negotiated work‑outs and restructuring scenarios, including matters involving distressed assets and time‑critical execution.
Renae spent over 10 years’ practising in London, advising on complex financing transactions across the UK and Europe. This international experience underpins her ability to manage sophisticated transactions involving offshore lenders, foreign law considerations and coordinated execution across multiple jurisdictions, and to deliver commercially focused outcomes on complex, multi‑party matters.
