Biography
Shanna acts for property owners, developers and asset managers nationally across the full property transaction and project lifecycle, with expertise in transformative redevelopments of super-regional retail assets and greenfield developments of mixed-use precincts.
She advises on major and anchor development and portfolio leasing programs, property and leasing due diligence and analysis, development and underpinning agreements and rent review and outgoings reconciliations and disputes.
Before practising law, Shanna worked in centre management at one of Queensland's largest regional shopping centres. This experience gives her a practical understanding of the commercial and operational pressures facing landlords, tenants and managers. Shanna expertly combines technical rigour with proactive, commercially focused problem solving.

Advised on the $1bn+ redevelopments of Macquarie Centre, NSW, Pacific Fair, QLD and Karrinyup, WA, including pre-development strategy, leasing, project delivery and post-development disputes, encompassing more than 2,500 leases over 10 years. -
Gibb Group
Acted on the acquisition of a large tract of rural land and subsequent development of a large-format retail precinct anchored by an ASX-listed hardware chain, including acquisition, development and future property strategies. -
Healthscope
Advised on the development, subdivision, leasing, licensing and divestment for a six-storey healthcare facility, including occupancy agreements, easements, licences, and off-the-plan sales. -
Stockland
Advised nationally on the roll-out of EV charging infrastructure across retail, commercial, industrial and residential property assets, including leasing, licensing and stakeholder management. -
