Biography
Toby has over a decade of litigation experience across Australia and the UK, handling complex disputes in commercial litigation, international arbitration, regulatory investigations, insolvency, retail leasing, debt recovery and construction. He has appeared in major proceedings before the Federal Court of Australia, Supreme and County Courts of Victoria, VCAT and the High Court of Justice (UK).
Toby has acted for ASX-listed companies, insolvency practitioners, not-for-profits and leading corporates including Tabcorp, Phillip Morris, Carlton United Breweries and Optus, assisting clients in managing investigations, preparing evidence, responding to regulatory notices and navigating cross‑border litigation.
His work includes acting in matters arising from major industry inquiries, advising on contractual and statutory issues, and supporting clients in urgent and sensitive situations. Toby manages multi‑party claims, providing strategic options and securing commercially sound outcomes.
