  • AMP:  leasing and leasing related work for the entire Australian office and industrial portfolio including acting in the leasing of numerous floors and the retail banking area within NAB House, 255 George Street Sydney to NAB which involved resolving complex access and fitout issues, 'green' performance requirements and incentive arrangements
  • Asia Property Fund/La Salle Investment Management:  acting on the $800m acquisition of a 50% interest in and redevelopment of Westfield's Doncaster Centre and subsequent sell down of 25% interest to ISPT
  • Challenger:  advising on its commercial property portfolio including all leasing and leasing related work Australia wide and the sale of leasehold title at 155 George Street Sydney, requiring negotiation of tripartite deed between vendor, purchaser and Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority
  • Mirvac:  off the plan sales and advice for residential developments at Rhodes (Amarco, Elinya and Waters Edge buildings), Era at Chatswood (including commercial/retail sales) and Stage I at Harold Park, Glebe and various vacant land project sales including house and land packages
  • Bendigo Bank:  acting in relation to its Melbourne headquarters at Docklands, the development sale and leaseback arrangement of $100m corporate headquarters in Bendigo and disposal of various other properties Australia wide
  • Valad Funds Management Limited and Kennards Self Storage:  acting on the joint venture formed for the acquisition of the Millers Self Storage portfolio of 24 freehold and seven managed sites in New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland, including contract negotiation, preparation of leases, due diligence, GST and stamp duty advice ($214m) and subsequent restructure of joint venture
  • Commonwealth Funds Management and Mirvac Funds Management:  acting on the redevelopment and releasing of part of Metcentre (formerly Westpac Plaza) in George Street Sydney, including make good negotiations with outgoing tenants, relocation of existing tenants, handling of tenancy disputes including claims to tribunal and the drafting and negotiating of over 50 agreements to lease and leases to new tenants
  • Cbus Property:  acting on a number of prestige mixed use retail and office complexes in Victoria and Western Australia
  • Colonial First State:  acting on the sale of a portfolio of industrial assets situated across eastern Australia
  • Bevillesta:  advising and acting on the leasing of the new Top Ryde Shopping Centre involving over 300 tenancies including majors and mini majors, advising on complex title arrangements and sales off the plan of residential lots and subsequent sale of the residential project constructed above the shopping centre
  • QR Limited:  advising Queensland Rail Limited in the area of rail infrastructure and transport, airspace development and all other property related matters
  • Laing O'Rourke:  acting on all aspects of the $250 million McLachlan & Ann development for Laing O’Rourke, from site acquisition in 2009 through to development of an appropriate titling structure and disposal (sales and leasing)
  • Stadiums Queensland:  Gadens was appointed by Stadiums Queensland to advise on the drafting and finalisation of various funding agreements for the redevelopment of Carrara Stadium.
  • APA Group:  Gadens is a principal adviser to APA Group, Australia's largest owner of gas transmission infrastructure. Gadens advises on transportation arrangements with major customers, commercial contracts, infrastructure development, construction, asset operations and management, regulatory advice and compliance as well as large, complex transactions.
