Stephen Lendrum
With hands-on legal knowledge of 30 years, Stephen is one of South Australia’s most experienced commercial property lawyers. Industry participants benefit from his expert input on a variety of property development and commercial leasing projects.
Backed by his enthusiasm, pragmatic approach and tenacity, Stephen has been actively involved in making submissions to government on Tenancy Law reform on behalf of the industry and was also a representative on the Attorney General’s Retail & Commercial Leases Advisory Committee.
Stephen is a past Vice President of the South Australian Division of the Property Council of Australia.
Experience
  • Aspen Group:  acting in relation to the $600m City Central project in the Adelaide CBD including negotiating leases for the office and retail components of the first three Towers to the State Government, Commonwealth Government (including Australian Taxation Office) and various institutional blue chip tenants and acting on the sale of all three buildings.
  • ETSA Utilities:  assisting with property and easement issues.
  • Antunes Group:  assisting with a major apartment and retail development at Henley Beach.
  • Various private developers:  providing legal support for construction and leasing of commercial developments, including an office and warehouse development in Alexandria (New South Wales), an office building at 81 Gouger Street, Adelaide and Tennyson Medical Centre at South Road, Kurralta Park.
  • Large national tenants:  assisting with site leases and acquisitions.
  • Major national developer:  providing leasing and development assistance with respect to the development of a number of new shopping centres.
  • Urban Construct:  acting on the development of Holdfast Shores apartments and The Embassy apartments on North Terrace.
  • Boundary Bend Group:  acting for Australia’s largest olive grove manager and olive oil exporter on its management, processing and distribution arrangements.
