Top 10, independent law firm Gadens is combining its legal knowledge and ‘lawtech’ to provide an innovative and compelling suite of technology offerings for clients. Widely recognised as a leader in technology in the legal sector, Gadens is well-known and respected for its ongoing research and development of legal services products.
Developed in conjunction with clients at the forefront of the property and financial services sectors, Gadens Portfolio Solutions (GPS) is an evolving suite of online business-to-business, legal analysis and management tools that offer clients an advanced method of conducting and managing legal work flows. The GPS suite of products supports client needs nationally and includes GPS Leasing, which digitises retail, commercial and industrial lease processes, GPS Lending for loan document preparation, GPS Recoveries, which manages debt recovery processes, and GPS Settlements, an online conveyancing settlement system for property developers, which is scheduled for release in the next few months.
Grant Scott-Hayward, Gadens Chief Executive Officer said:
“Our firm has incredibly innovative people. Not only does this mean we invest in and develop technology solutions together with our clients to meet their needs, but our people constantly come up with smart ideas for clients that enhance outcomes for them. Many of our property and financial services clients for example, use GPS on a daily basis as an intuitive interface for managing legal matters, analysing portfolio performance, managing potential risks and identifying trends across the country. This reflects our unwavering focus to help our clients achieve their goals, including enhancing what their customers experience – whether this is through the quality of our legal expertise in the most complex of situations, or even in circumstances best served by the commercial benefits that GPS offers”.
A major component of these user-friendly solutions is the fast, efficient and cost effective processing of legal work flows.
“Our GPS suite offers clients a number of other benefits, including accessibility to real-time information on the status of a legal matter, proactive management of a client or users’ portfolio, better alignment of processes, document exchange, trend analysis, live reporting and customised reports – all of which support a high-quality, cost-effective legal service in a secure environment. An added bonus is that the work is done electronically, further reducing the cost of doing business”, concludes Mr. Scott-Hayward.
Gadens Portfolio Solutions (GPS)
The current suite of solutions include:
GPS Leasing – Facilitates the online management of retail, commercial and industrial leases. GPS Leasing gives clients the control and ability to track the progress of all leasing matters and instructions. Accessible via a secure web portal, the system records and houses valuable information about an organisation’s leases and the lease production and management process.
GPS Lending – Provides clients with a ‘one stop shop’ for the management and tracking of all residential and commercial lending transactions. It is currently used to provide efficient and consistent standard loan documentation for a number of major banks and lenders across Australia. GPS Lending’s workflows ensures up to date status reporting for lenders and brokers, allowing lenders to better manage their customer experience and expectations.
GPS Recoveries – Facilitates the recovery of mortgage arrears and mortgage enforcement as well as for unsecured debt. Using Google Maps technology, GPS Recoveries’ complex workflows provides national tracking and reporting on the progress and performance of debt recovery matters, online and in real-time. It is used by many of our financial services clients to manage their secured and unsecured debt portfolios.
GPS Settlements – An online conveyancing settlement system that streamlines the record keeping, progress reporting and completion of multiple off-the-plan sales. GPS Settlements facilitates prompt settlements and avoids delays, as users can book settlements and purchasers’ solicitors can access settlement statements online. Our developer clients use GPS Settlements to extract reports showing specific details for agents, clients and financiers.
