Amy has over 20 years’ experience in international and domestic banking and finance transactions including acquisition finance, secured corporate lending, trade and commodity finance, securitisation and structured finance. Amy also has considerable experience in structured and complex derivatives transactions across many asset classes including interest rates, fx, equity, commodity and credit.

Amy routinely advises investment banks and large corporates in financing transactions in a wide range of industries including financial services, fintech, commodities, energy, oil and gas, natural resources and telecoms.

Amy also has significant international experience having worked in London at a magic circle UK law firm and a top-tier US firm including secondments at Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan.

Amy has been recognised in the Legal 500 (UK) in Banking (Emerging Markets) in 2014 and Derivatives and Structured Products in 2013, 2014 and 2016.

Amy’s experience:

• Acted for Westpac in connection with a A$50million trade prepayment facility provided to a major energy and resources company based in Western Australia
• Acted for Natixis in connection with a US$300m trade guarantee facility provided to a major Australian energy company
• Acted for HSBC in relation to a A$30 million structured receivable finance facility provided to major Australian natural resources company
• Acted for Energy Queensland in connection with a series of electricity swaps linked to energy transition.
