Andrew specialises in commercial property transactions, representing both institutional clients and private clients. He has developed a broad practice with a strong emphasis on the acquisition and disposition of commercial properties, the preparation and negotiation of leases for commercial, retail and industrial premises and providing land tax advice.
Whilst predominantly acting on behalf of sophisticated and informed landlord clients, Andrew has also acted on behalf of tenants in relation to major commercial leases which has contributed to his understanding of the different commercial objectives and requirements of landlords and tenants. Andrew has built an impressive list of clients including a range of sophisticated and informed landlords, large corporate institutions and major tenants including AMP, Cbus Property, Barwon Investment Partners, ISPT, Australian Unity and Kathmandu.
Since 2016, each year Andrew has been nominated and selected as a Best Lawyer in the area of Real Property Law by Best Lawyers Australia. He has also been recognised as a recommended lawyer in the Doyle’s Guide listing of Leading Property & Real Estate Lawyers in Victoria in the 2018 and 2019 editions, as well as a leading lawyer in the 2020 edition.
