Kasia has extensive experience advising clients on insolvency disputes, shareholder actions and regulatory investigations, alongside broader commercial, banking and finance disputes. She acts for clients across all levels of State Courts in Victoria, South Australia and New South Wales, as well as the Federal Court of Australia.

Kasia advises clients on complex disputes, regulator investigations and insolvency-related matters. Her practice spans insolvency and restructuring disputes, Australian Consumer Law and Corporations Act claims, as well as regulatory investigations by ASIC, the TGA and the OAIC.

She helps clients navigate high-stakes disputes, often involving multiple parties, competing claims, technical questions of law and fact and significant financial exposure.

Before joining private practice, Kasia held roles with the Federal Court of Australia and government, providing her with a strong understanding of policy, litigation processes and regulatory environments. She also holds advanced insolvency certification from ARITA and INSOL, together with formal qualifications in dispute resolution, strengthening her ability to deliver practical, outcome‑focused advice.

Kasia is an active member of Victorian Women Lawyers, Women in Insolvency and Restructuring Victoria and the Insolvency and Restructuring Committee of the Law Council of Australia, reflecting her commitment to diversity and inclusion in the legal profession and to the development of the insolvency and restructuring community in Victoria.

Experience includes:

  • Lucerne Private and Ors: Acted for proceedings commenced in the Supreme Court of Victoria by a former client of the firm alleging negligent advice and breaches of fiduciary duty relating to financial services advice.
  • Global Capital Property Fund: Acted on a multi-faceted ASIC investigation and related Federal Court proceedings concerning alleged breaches of the Corporations Act.
