National law firm Gadens announces four partner promotions effective 1 July 2026. These appointments reinforce the firm’s continued investment in its people and its commitment to building depth across its national platform, now with over 120 partners.

Sandra has extensive experience advising on the development, protection, management and enforcement of intellectual property rights, including patent, trade mark, copyright and design matters. Sandra has developed a leading reputation, particularly in patent enforcement and patent litigation matters.
Shane advises on strategic projects and commercial agreements, with particular expertise in the energy sector. He assists major gas industry participants on complex commercial arrangements and regulatory frameworks. Shane supports clients across all industries on corporate transactions, including capital raisings, joint venture and shareholder arrangements, and mergers and acquisitions.
Tegan is a seasoned litigator with ten years’ experience in complex, high-stakes disputes across the financial services and government sectors. She is recognised for her expertise in contentious tax matters, regulatory proceedings, and sensitive commercial claims.
Yangmin has extensive experience in the acquisition, development, leasing and divestment of commercial and retail property, retirement living assets and lease communities across multiple jurisdictions. Before joining Gadens, he spent more than 12 years in-house, including managing an A-REIT’s national retail portfolio valued in excess of $5bn.
Further to the partner appointments, Gadens has also promoted three senior associates and eight special counsels, recognising outstanding talent and supporting the firm’s continued growth.
