Mitchell is a planning and environment lawyer and a qualified town planner. He has experience acting for developers, landowners, local and State Government authorities and submitters on a broad range of planning, development and environmental matters.
Mitchell’s experience includes:
- Appearing in the Planning and Environment Court on behalf of government and private clients, providing procedural and strategic advice on a range of planning, environmental, infrastructure and property related matters.
- Representing both complainants and defendants in the Magistrates Court in relation to compliance with and enforcement of planning and environmental laws and regulations.
- Preparing agreements and due diligence reports and providing front end advice to clients on a range of complex issues involving statutory interpretation, development applications, infrastructure charging regimes, development compliance and environmental management matters.
