Catherine is a senior intellectual property (IP) lawyer with lengthy experience operating a full service trade marks practice. Catherine helps FMCGs, SMEs and individuals with brand name management, protection, enforcement and dispute resolution and advises on copyright, designs, confidential information and anti-counterfeiting.
Catherine also has experience advising on Australian Consumer Law (ACL) issues and disputes and providing corporate training on IP protection and ACL compliance. She has worked at the cutting edge of IP law, advising clients whose business success relies on the successful management of complex IP issues. Many leading global and Australian brands seek her advice on the strategic management of their IP rights, in Australia and overseas.
Catherine’s experience spans both private practice and in-house roles in Australia and internationally with clients from diverse industries. She has extensive legal referral networks across Asia, Europe and the Americas; and has appeared in oppositions and other actions before IP Australia and the Federal Court of Australia.
