Grant is the Chief Executive Officer of Gadens in Melbourne and Sydney, and is a member of the Gadens National Board. Since 2015 he has been a Pay Equity Ambassador for the Workplace Gender Equality Agency.

Grant brings to Gadens extensive leadership, executive and senior management expertise in professional services firms. With a background in management consulting, he has advised a large number of leading law and accounting firms, other professional services firms and knowledge-based organisations located across Australia, Asia, Europe, North America and Africa. He has held senior executive positions in top performing law firms and a number of external advisory roles.

With a strong values-based ethos, Grant has particular expertise in strategy, leadership, organisational governance and structuring, culture transformation, developing and implementing revenue-growth strategies and performance improvement.

Prior to joining Gadens, Grant spent five years with Lander & Rogers as Chief Operating Officer and Board Member. Before that Grant led a consulting and advisory practice in market-led strategy at Beaton Consulting. This included heading the firm’s Annual Business and Professions Study, the largest study of its kind in the world, obtaining the views of thousands of clients of professional services firms. In his last role before emigrating from South Africa, Grant was Chief Executive Officer of the Royal Bafokeng Administration and advisor to the King of the Royal Bafokeng Nation.

Grant has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa and a Master of Business Administration (awarded with distinction) from Edinburgh Business School, UK. He has completed professional development programs at Melbourne Law School, Wits University Business School, South Africa, and the Graduate School of Business, University of Cape Town, South Africa.

Married with three daughters, Grant is passionate about his family. He enjoys wildlife, travel, photography, golf, cycling and reading. He is also an enthusiastic supporter of Liverpool Football Club.
