Luke is a partner of Lavan, an independent law firm in Perth operating in association with Gadens.

Luke is a commercial lawyer with a particular focus on the energy and regulated infrastructure sectors, including in respect of Western Australia’s electricity and gas sectors.

Luke has a particular focus advising on commercial commodity sale and transport contracting, climate change and environmental matters, wholesale and retail market regulation, administrative law, as well as economic regulation of regulated infrastructure and competition and consumer protection matters.

Luke has advised large government and private incumbent generators, gas aggregators and retailers, as well as energy project developers, retail and wholesale start-ups, energy network service providers and energy sector regulators in Western Australia, the National Electricity Market and east coast gas markets.
