Annette is a Partner in our Banking & Finance Team, and practises primarily in the area of banking and finance litigation, insolvency and dispute resolution; acting for banks and large financial institutions. She specialises in enforcement of securities, including guarantees, mortgages over real property (and other interests such as leases, crops, stock) and security interests under the Personal Property Securities Act 2009.
Annette was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland in January 2003 and as a solicitor and barrister of the Supreme Court of Victoria in July 2005. Since being admitted to practice, Annette has gained a broad range of experience in litigation across varied jurisdictions.
Annette has been involved in significant cases, extending to the High Court, involving complex and novel legal issues. Annette has a particular interest in cases involving allegations of fraud, undue influence, mistake and unconscionable lending.
